The outcome

3 months — from engagement to a stabilised, market-ready platform

The challenge

A bold product on unstable ground

Recruitment in the energy sector is notoriously time-consuming, outdated and expensive. Moblyze set out to change that with a swipe-based hiring marketplace where employers and candidates connect in seconds, using agentic AI to make hiring frictionless and data-driven.

The vision was sound. The platform underneath it was not. Before anything could be built on top, somebody had to find out what was actually there.

Zudu's role:

Code review, stabilisation, then product ownership and roadmap

Team:

Two full-stack developers, with UX/UI design, product ownership, QA and technical roadmapping

The platform

Stabilise first, then aim higher

Swipe to apply, an AI agent that runs the first screening, recruiter chat, certification tracking and referral links - a talent marketplace for the energy sector built mobile-first.

The card you swipe: rate, location, contract length, start date and openings - plus how many of the required skills you already have.

The AI works both ways. Here it pushes the candidate a role an employer flagged them for, rather than waiting to be searched.

Any worker can pass a job on and get credited for it - distribution that comes from the workforce, not the ad budget.

01 · Diagnosis

A forensic code review first

Before any new feature work, a full review of the existing codebase to separate what could be built on from what had to be replaced - issues and opportunities identified rather than assumed.

02 · Squad

One team, every discipline

A dedicated squad of two full-stack developers with UX/UI design, product ownership, QA and technical roadmapping around them - enough to stabilise and set direction at the same time.

03 · Screening

AI runs the first interview

Swipe right to apply and an AI agent screens for skills, certifications, availability and right to work, returning a suitability score - so recruiters open a shortlist rather than an inbox.

04 · Growth

Referral built into the product

Any worker can share a job as a deep link, and the system attributes the referral back to whoever sent it - distribution that comes from the workforce rather than the ad budget.

The results

Stable, market-ready, and pointed at AI

Within three months the platform was stabilised, made market-ready, and began evolving into a genuinely AI-first product. Moblyze is positioned as a disruptor in RecTech and ready to scale across energy recruitment.
