Behind the title
I saw first-hand how digital transformation turned siloed teams into creative collaborators – and I wanted in! As a Product Owner, I bridge the gap between tech and users, eroding boundaries and learning fast from real feedback.

What you wouldn’t guess
I love sport – watching and playing. I regularly go to Scotland games at Hampden, my wife says it would be ok if I leave her for Andy Murray, and I try to get to The Open whenever it is hosted at Scottish course. I am terrible at playing sport – I haven’t yet found one I’m good at but I throw myself in with zest all the same. I had to retire from football recently as my long-suffering hamstrings decided enough was enough. It was a sad day for me, but maybe not for the sport in general.

If you could train an AI to do absolutely anything, what would it be?
Serious answer: there’s so much promise for AI in healthcare – spotting early warning signs in blood tests, predicting risks, suggesting cost-effective medication regimens, helping GPs make prioritised decisions and so much more. With a little bit of effort, I believe AI could free up clinicians to focus on care and save money. At a personal level, I am, of course, terrible at golf but can’t quite afford coaching. I’d like an AI that looked at my swing and gave me advice, although maybe it would say ‘give up’.

Why Zudu?
I have worked for very big organisations during my career and its refreshing to be somewhere that is small but has big, bold and exciting ambitions. I love that we strive to be ‘relentlessly human’ – when I was thinking about where to move next, this idea was distinctive and winsome. I try to bring empathy and care to all my interactions and I am proud to be part of a company where the human connection is cherished and obvious.
