What is meant by low-code development?
Low-code development is a fast and creative method of developing software such as mobile apps, websites, and desktop apps. It uses visual elements such as drag-and-drop components to simultaneously design and develop features whilst still giving the option to expand on them with manual inputs using JavaScript, HTML, and other common coding languages.
Popular examples of low-code platforms (LCDPs) include Microsoft Power Apps and Appian.
What is no-code development?
No-code development platforms assume no coding knowledge and provide users with a simple, visual user interface that allows them to build modern software using pre-made components that require little to no additional configuration. However, if you still find you need to expand on the capabilities of your project, you can insert custom code, similar to low-code solutions.
Popular examples of no-code platforms (NCDPs) include Bubble and Google AppSheet.
