We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for a Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to a cutting-edge SaaS product, centred around digital identity and licencing. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in ground-breaking technology which can make a significant impact on people’s lives. This currently is a full-time permanent role within our Edinburgh or Dundee office, there is also flexibility for a hybrid working model.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Full Stack Developer at Zudu, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining scalable and efficient applications. Reporting to Product Owner, you’ll collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and fellow developers to deliver solutions that exceed expectations and push digital boundaries.
Requirements:

- Develop and maintain robust web applications.
- Collaborate with design and project teams to translate requirements into functional and appealing interfaces.
- Develop, implement, and maintain APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Work in Scrum and Agile methodologies within the team to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
- Comment on code and work collaboratively on repositories (e.g., GitHub).
- Stay up to date on technology and tech innovations.
Nice To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/Heroku.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Experienced with React Native, React, Express JS, Node JS, Go, Laravel
- App Store/Google Play knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of authentication and authorisation mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
