Marketing Manager

Ideal Start Date: October/November 2024

Location: Remote or Hybrid from Dundee, Edinburgh

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a proven track record in marketing strategy, demand gen marketing campaigns, SEM, content creation and social media marketing. This role will primarily focus on marketing strategies for Zudu but also our client’s brands, websites, apps and SaaS products.

This is a flexible hybrid position, with offices in Dundee and Edinburgh.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responsibility for the creation and management of the Marketing Plan.
  • Plan, advise and run digital marketing campaigns for Zudu and its clients.
  • Create engaging online and social media content.
  • Create SEO-optimised content including press releases, blogs, and landing pages.
  • Research keywords, competitors, and markets to guide strategies.
  • Monitor and adjust campaign budgets for the best performance and ROI.
  • Design marketing visuals – using Canva or similar.
  • Utilising AI tools and automation software.

 

Requirements:

  • Creative, tech-savvy, and passionate about marketing and technology.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO for content creation.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics 4 and Search Console.
  • Social Media management: Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills and client-facing experience.
  • Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.

 

Beneficial but not essential:

    Which tools and technologies do you work with?

    While each role will have slightly different requirements (and we’ll always make sure these are outlined in the job posting), our whole team will use Slack, Notion, Basecamp, and Outlook on a daily basis, alongside job-specific tools such as Jira, HubSpot, Freshdesk, Canva, Figma, and more. As we develop software across Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac there are many tools and technologies to choose from.

    What are the usual working hours at Zudu?

    Our offices are open from 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and these are the standard hours for all full-time roles (both remote and office-based). Please contact our team for more information about flexible hours.
